Senior P&C reinsurance pricing role in New York, focused on QBE Re’s Credit business. You’ll price treaty and bespoke credit reinsurance, develop and govern pricing models, and advise underwriting, claims, finance, and senior leadership. The role is hybrid, with 2–3 days per week in the New York office, and pays $188,000–$282,000 plus discretionary bonus.

Strongly preferred
Progressive experience within actuarial or quantitative career with exposure to P&C insurance/reinsurance pricing
Solid background in (re)insurance with specialization in financial risks and forecast modelling using rating scales and default probabilities
Experience in developing and modifying pricing models
Experience working independently and in teams
Experience presenting technical work to technical and non-technical audiences
Knowledge of programming tools: VBA, SQL, R, Python
Actuarial qualification (FCAS, ACAS, FIA, IFOA) or progress toward qualification
Tertiary degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related quantitative discipline or equivalent experience
Understanding of Political Risk and Credit (re)insurance classes and asset classes
