Pricing partner to underwriting

Closer to a live-business pricing partner than a modelling-heavy individual-contributor role, because credibility with underwriters and clients is explicitly required.

Senior P&C actuarial pricing role in AXIS Capital’s global Cyber Reinsurance business, based in New York, NY. You’ll lead proportional and non-proportional treaty pricing, portfolio monitoring, business planning, and pricing tool improvements while partnering with underwriting, exposure management, and other actuarial functions.

Requirements

Must have

  • 5+ years of actuarial experience

Strongly preferred

  • Reinsurance pricing experience
  • Familiarity with cyber line of business
  • Fellow or Associate of a relevant actuarial organization
  • Strong time management and organizational skills

Nice to have

  • Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for pushing boundaries of actuarial analysis and tools
  • Advanced knowledge of Reinsurance pricing structures and techniques
