JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Own North America insurance P&L and drive profitability for VWFS insurance
- Chair the Pricing Committee and oversee pricing and underwriting alignment
- Lead finance, insurance accounting, controlling and pricing teams
- Ensure IFRS 17 compliance and deliver regulatory financial reporting
- Hybrid role based in Reston, VA with ~30% travel to Canada
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Insurance finance leadership and P&L ownership
- Pricing oversight and underwriting alignment
- IFRS 17 implementation and regulatory reporting
- Claims forecasting and reserves steering
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 10–15 years progressive finance experience with 5+ years senior leadership
- Experience overseeing pricing, underwriting alignment and regulatory reporting
- Strong understanding and implementation experience with IFRS 17
- Proven P&L ownership, reserves steering and capital oversight
- Able to travel ~30% to Canada
