JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead pricing for North American P&C reinsurance treaties
  • Support GL, Auto, Umbrella, Workers' Comp and Property lines
  • Develop and enhance pricing tools and models, primarily in Excel
  • Frequent interaction with underwriting, claims and finance; present to senior management
  • Director-level role requiring 8+ years and ACAS/FCAS or near completion

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • pricing and structuring P&C reinsurance treaties
  • analysis of quota share, excess-of-loss and aggregate treaties
  • LOB studies and assumption updates for P&C lines
  • developing pricing tools and models in Excel

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 8+ years of applicable actuarial experience
  • FCAS, ACAS or near completion (or equivalent) expected
  • Experience pricing/structuring reinsurance treaties (quota share, XL, aggregate)
  • Proficient in MS Excel and building pricing tools
