You will lead medical cost trend modelling, pricing, rate filings, reserving, forecasting and budgeting while supervising actuarial staff. The role requires 8+ years of healthcare actuarial experience and at least 3 years in leadership.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
  • 8 years of actuarial experience in a healthcare environment
  • 3 years of experience in a leadership role

Strongly preferred

  • FSA designation
  • MAAA membership
  • 5 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of financial and risk arrangements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project and people management skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business language
