Closer to a transformation build than a specialist pricing role because the startup is creating products, systems and processes as it grows.

Director-level Life actuarial role in Urbandale, Iowa, focused on developing and managing individual annuity products. You’ll support product ideation, pricing, filings, administration and illustration systems, post-launch work, and rate-setting while partnering across functions in a startup environment.

Requirements

Strongly preferred

  • 5+ years of actuarial experience with progressively more responsibility
  • Concentration on Individual Annuities and/or Individual Life Insurance products
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science or related degree
  • Working towards FSA and MAAA certifications

Nice to have

  • Actuarial product development, financial reporting, or reinsurance experience
