Five-week paid Health actuarial internship with HCSC in Chicago or Richardson. You’ll support research, data gathering, light analysis, and a structured summer project while building foundational business and technical skills through mentoring and professional development.

Requirements

Must have

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree; rising junior considering a major in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, computer science or economics
Graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship not available
Available for the full duration of the paid summer program

Strongly preferred

Interest in a career in Actuarial Science
Strong analytical skills
Practical, developed technical skills, especially Excel and VBA
Demonstrated interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
Working proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general comfort with virtual collaboration tools
