Health actuarial internship at Health Care Service Corporation in Chicago or Richardson, with a ten-week paid program and hybrid designation. You will support pricing, reserving, forecasting, data analysis, and predictive modelling projects while building technical and business skills.

Requirements

Must have

Pursuing a bachelor's degree; rising senior in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, computer science or economics
Completion of or plans to complete 1 ASA exam by graduation
Graduation between December 2027 and June 2028
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
Available for the full duration of the 10-week program
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; no sponsorship available

Strongly preferred

Previous internship experience
Demonstrated interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
Strong analytical skills
Practical, developed technical skills, especially Excel, SQL and VBA
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, strong communication skills, and a collaborative, learning-oriented mindset
Working proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general comfort with virtual collaboration tools
