Senior Manager health actuarial consulting role with Deloitte’s Insights, Innovation & Operate Offering in Jacksonville, Florida. You’ll advise payer and provider clients on pricing, product design, reimbursement and value-based care, using actuarial modeling and predictive analysis while leading teams and presenting recommendations to executives.
Requirements
Must have
Bachelor's degree
10+ years of health actuarial experience
ASA with progression to FSA, FSA, or career ASA designation
Ability to travel 50% on average
Strongly preferred
8+ years of consulting, health plan, or insurance company experience
6+ years of experience leading teams
6+ years of experience with product design or product strategy
6+ years of experience with reimbursement models including value-based care or ACO modeling
6+ years of experience with risk adjustment mechanisms, group insurance products, mergers and acquisitions, or health care reform
Ability to lead projects or workstreams
Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
