Senior Manager health actuarial consulting role in Tempe, Arizona, supporting payers, providers, health systems, and insurers. You will lead teams and advise executives on pricing, product and plan design, reimbursement and value-based care models, predictive analysis, and financial performance.
Requirements
Strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of health actuarial experience
- ASA with progression to FSA, FSA, or career ASA designation
- Ability to travel 50% on average
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
- Ability to lead projects or workstreams
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others
- 8+ years of consulting, health plan, or insurance company experience
- 6+ years of experience leading teams
- 6+ years of experience with product design or product strategy
- 6+ years of experience with reimbursement models, including value-based care or ACO modeling
- 6+ years of experience with risk adjustment mechanisms, group insurance products, M&A, or health care reform involving individual medical, small group, or state Medicaid markets
