Healthcare actuarial Senior Analyst role in Arlington, Virginia, supporting employer health and group benefits consulting. You’ll perform pricing, plan design, reserve calculations, claim reporting, and financial modeling while working with client teams, vendors, and delivery centers. The role is hybrid and offers a $75,000-$90,000 base salary plus an incentive bonus.

Must have
State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining

Strongly preferred
2+ years experience in professional services, ideally in benefit consulting/brokerage or health underwriting/actuarial at an insurance company
Basic knowledge of health and welfare products and services
Knowledge of carrier claim reporting
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and produce quality deliverables on time and within budget
Strong client service orientation and timely communication
Proven ability to identify and resolve issues
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter attitude, ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical, creative and integrative skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
Relevant financial experience and/or university degree
Nice to have
Ability to learn big data analytic techniques
Progress towards health actuarial designation or CEBS designation
