Senior P&C actuarial analyst role with the Ohio Department of Insurance in Columbus. You’ll review complex rate filings for actuarial reasonableness and legal compliance, communicate issues to insurers, approve rates, and guide junior analysts. The role requires four years of P&C actuarial experience and three CAS exams.

Requirements

Must have

  • 3 CAS examinations passed
  • 4 years of actuarial experience in P&C field
  • Completion of undergraduate core program in mathematics
  • 24 months experience with personal computer operation

Strongly preferred

  • Ability to analyze complex P&C rate filings for reasonableness
  • Provide direction and peer reviews to lower level analysts
