P&C actuarial internship in GEICO’s Product & Pricing team in Bethesda, MD, focused on personal auto pricing and related analysis. During a paid 10-week hybrid program, interns work on rate reviews, filings, loss trends, reserving analysis, and product rollouts using Excel, R, SQL, Python, and Power BI.

Requirements

Must have

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must live within commutable distance of Bethesda, MD and work hybrid (3-4 days in office)
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Strongly preferred

  • Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in quantitative field, graduating by May 2028
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • Intermediate skills in Excel
  • Basic proficiency with data analysis software (R, SQL, Python, or Power BI)
  • Self-driven, motivated, and leadership potential
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities with accurate and timely results
  • Intellectual curiosity to learn and ability to ask insightful questions
  • Effective time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills
