P&C actuarial internship in GEICO’s Pricing Actuarial team in Bethesda, Maryland. During a paid 10-week summer program, you’ll support personal auto pricing, rate reviews, filings, loss trend analysis, and product work while using Excel, R, and Power BI and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

Must have

  • Must live within commutable distance from the Bethesda, MD office
  • Must work a hybrid schedule with 3-4 days per week in office
  • No employment visa sponsorship available

Strongly preferred

  • Currently pursuing a quantitative Bachelor's or Master's degree, graduating by May 2028
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Intermediate skills in Excel
  • Basic proficiency with R, SQL, Python, or Power BI
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • Self-driven, motivated, and shows leadership potential
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities accurately and timely
  • Intellectual curiosity to learn and ask insightful questions
  • Effective time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills
