JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Ten-week Assumed Reinsurance internship in Cedar Rapids, IA
  • Support underwriting, submission analysis, and reinsurance operations
  • Assist with reinsurance reporting, including MGA programs
  • Work with CAT modelling and actuarial teams on catastrophe forecasting
  • Network with leadership and present solutions to executive team

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Enrolled in actuarial science, risk management, finance or related degree
  • General knowledge of insurance or reinsurance principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in a related field
  • General knowledge of insurance or reinsurance principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
