Senior P&C Lead Actuary role in New York, NY, with a commercial insurance focus spanning large-account, excess, specialty, and non-admitted business. You will lead pricing, reserving, profitability, and reinsurance analyses while guiding actuarial staff and partnering with underwriting, finance, claims, and senior leadership.
Requirements
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- 15+ years of professional experience in the actuarial field
- FCAS designation
- Proficiency in Excel (VBA), PowerPoint, Word, and SQL or other programming languages (e.g., R and Python)
Strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
- Advanced knowledge of ratemaking, reserving, profitability analysis, predictive modeling, and reinsurance pricing
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of PowerBI or Tableau
