Closer to a modelling-heavy IC than a pricing-underwriting partner because technical design, peer review, and governance authority outweigh direct live-deal involvement.
Senior P&C pricing leadership role for Coalition’s cyber insurance business, open remotely across the United States. You’ll serve as a technical authority for pricing strategy, governance, monitoring, rating-plan implementation, and data-driven tools while partnering with business, underwriting, engineering, and security stakeholders.
Requirements
Strongly preferred
- 12+ years of experience in Insurance pricing
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives
- Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or related field
- Deep subject matter expertise of actuarial pricing & reserving concepts
- Excellent communication skills, including conveying technical concepts to non-technical audience
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to solve ambiguous problems in a structured data-driven way
- Ability to think strategically and operationally, balancing short-term and long-term
- Ability to influence partners and build relationships
- Ability to develop, assess and monitor business metrics to optimize pricing
Nice to have
- FCAS certification preferred
- Pricing experience in Cyber Insurance
- Pricing experience in Large Accounts
- Pricing experience in D&O insurance or other commercial lines
- Experience working with external regulators
