What You'll Do: As a Life Actuarial Associate I on our Product Pricing & Business Development team, you will develop your understanding of actuarial functions and insurance concepts through hands-on application. You will be part of a team responsible for the pricing and development of new products, leveraging MG-ALFA modeling software to analyze the profitability and risk profiles of products to support the Company's strategic growth initiatives. You will also support other aspects of new product design including regulatory filings, operational requirements and administrative system development. In addition, you will have the opportunity to interact and engage with professionals in a variety of other areas across the company.
What It Takes to Join Our Team:
- College degree in math, actuarial science, or related degree and/or equivalent experience.
- At least two actuarial exams passed preferred.
- Above average mathematical and analytical ability to be able to resolve difficult problems.
- Knowledge and working experience with Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with coworkers.
- Ability to work from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
