ILI Actuarial is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative and detail oriented individual for a Manager role within ILI Strategy & Closed Block team. The associate will be part of a team responsible for the management of Pru's Closed Block. This team develops dividend scales, performs annual dividend analysis and presents results to senior leaders to inform decision making. The team also oversees scale implementation, performs quarterly dividend reporting and various stress tests which include but not limited to AAT, DST, LST, RP. This role is dynamic and involves substantial interaction with the senior leadership team and partnership with other functional areas within Prudential and consultants on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the Closed Block model build across functional areas including Actuarial, Finance, Treasury and Tax
• Assist with the development of the scope, project plan and timeline for the model year
• Organize planning meetings, manage relationships and coordinate the model build between internal stakeholders and consultants
• Coordinate analysis and review of results and reports across stakeholders
• Support annual model build by tracking issues, coordinating resolution and appropriately documenting final decisions
• Support Closed Block dividend analysis, reporting and stress testing
• Monitor Closed Block model costs on the monthly basis and prepare expense analysis
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives
• Primary location for position is in the Newark, NJ office, but open to remote or Hartford, CT

Qualifications:
• B.A. / B.S. required
• Strong project management skills
• Demonstrated interpersonal and partnering skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong oral, written and visual communication
• Self-motivated and flexible
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Actuarial exams a plus
• Experience with Python & PowerBI a plus
• Life insurance experience a plus

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $103,100.00 to $153,500.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
