Manager-level Health actuarial role in Ohio focused on Medicaid pricing, forecasting, reserving, and rate or bid filings. You will manage staff, own actuarial processes, maintain models, and provide recommendations to leadership while working with external vendors and stakeholders.
Requirements
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics or a related field or equivalent relevant work experience
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
Strongly preferred
- 2-3 years of management experience
- 2-3 years of actuarial experience
- Strong database experience (SQL, SAS, or Access)
- Managed care or healthcare experience
- Medicaid experience
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of SQL, SAS, R, Python or other data manipulation software
