Manager-level insurance analytics role (P&C personal lines) leading a team to build an insurance metrics and reporting framework. You will own core metrics, design automated dashboards, and partner with data engineering and business unit leaders. Role reports to the Director, Actuarial and is open in multiple US offices including Bedminster, NJ.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Manage a team of insurance analysts and build career tracks for junior staff
- Own the core insurance metrics layer and definitions across the org
- Design dashboards and deliver automated reporting for BU leaders
- Collaborate with data engineering and product to ensure data capture and pipelines
- Requires 7+ years in personal lines insurance analytics and strong SQL/Python
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- personal lines insurance analytics
- familiarity with actuarial, underwriting, and claims data
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field required
- 7+ years experience in personal lines insurance data and analytics
- 3–5 years of direct people management experience required
- Familiarity with actuarial, underwriting, and claims data domains
- Proficient in writing and reviewing SQL and Python code
