Manager-level P&C pricing role for travel insurance based in San Diego, CA. You will own rate level indications, pricing segmentation, filings, and monitor underwriting profitability while leading a small actuarial pricing team. Reports to the Chief Insurance Officer in a hybrid (2–3 days onsite) arrangement.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Manage the Pricing function and lead junior and senior actuarial analysts
- Own rate level indications, pricing segmentation, and regulatory filings
- Track underwriting profitability and recommend remediation strategies
- Hybrid role — San Diego office, onsite 2–3 days/week
- Preferred credential: ACAS; requires 4+ years' related experience
