JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead Investment Strategy team and ALM activities for a major life insurer
- Own strategic asset allocation, interest-rate hedging and reinvestment strategies
- Develop investment assumptions for new business pricing and capital testing
- Manage a team of ~7–8 investment and actuarial professionals
- Hybrid role — 3 days per week in New York, NY
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- insurance assets and liabilities and capital markets experience
- ALM and interest rate hedging solutions
- strategic asset allocation for product portfolios
- investment assumptions for pricing and capital adequacy testing
- capital management and reinsurance initiatives
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 15+ years professional experience in insurance or asset-intensive financial services
- Proven leadership managing investment/actuarial teams
- Deep knowledge of insurance assets, liabilities and capital markets
- Advanced degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Actuarial Science
