JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Design and build AWS-native actuarial data platform (Glue, Redshift, Lambda, S3)
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, APIs using Python, SQL, and PySpark
- Automate data ingestion, validation, and AI-driven tooling for forecasting
- Fully remote senior individual-contributor role, 7+ years experience
- Integrate with CI/CD and infra using Terraform, CodeBuild, GitHub, Docker
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Cloud data engineering in AWS (Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Step Functions)
- Python and SQL ETL pipeline development with PySpark experience
- Data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and performance tuning
- Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD integration (CodeBuild, GitHub)
- Experience with financial or actuarial data systems (AXIS, Prophet)
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of data engineering, architecture, or analytics experience
- Expert-level AWS experience (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions)
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with PySpark and ETL design
- Hands-on Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD (CodeBuild, GitHub) experience
- Experience in financial or actuarial data environments preferred
