Role Summary

Role type

Modelling-heavy senior individual contributor

Closer to a modelling-heavy IC than a reserving cycle role because predictive forecasting, validation, and AI/ML work outweigh routine quarterly reporting.

Director-level actuarial forecasting role in the warranty and supply-chain risk space, offered remotely across the US for a 12-month term. You will develop and validate claims, reserving, loss-development, and predictive models, using historical claims and exposure data to improve financial forecasts. The role partners with actuarial, finance, supply chain, claims, data science, and technology teams.

Requirements

Must have

  • 12-15 years of relevant actuarial forecasting and modelling experience

Strongly preferred

  • Strong expertise in claims frequency/severity, loss ratio projections, reserving, and loss development
  • Experience in extended warranty, device protection, service contracts, or specialty insurance
  • Hands-on experience with historical claims, exposure data, and predictive modelling
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with actuarial tools and cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

Nice to have

  • Actuarial certification (e.g., ACAS/FCAS/ASA/FSA) is preferred
