Role type

Client-facing health actuarial consultant

Closer to consulting client leadership than a modelling-heavy individual-contributor role because service delivery, client contact, and business development are central.

Senior Health actuarial consulting role with Marsh’s Actuarial and Financial Consulting team, based in Salt Lake City or another US office. You’ll lead employer health benefits projects covering financial projections, plan design, renewals, underwriting support, and client strategy while directing junior staff.

Requirements

Must have

  • BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics, or related field
  • Minimum 10+ years experience in an actuarial field, with health and benefits consulting experience

Strongly preferred

  • Proven progress toward obtaining ASA designation
  • Client-facing experience
  • Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office—Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Nice to have

  • Experience in health benefits actuarial consulting
  • ASA credentialed
