Client-facing actuarial consulting leader

Closer to a consulting leadership role than a modelling-heavy IC position—the deciding factor is executive client growth and engagement ownership rather than individual model production.

Principal-level P&C consulting actuary role based in Philadelphia, with hybrid options from several U.S. satellite offices. You will lead complex, multi-line client engagements, manage portfolios, develop business, mentor teams, and modernize actuarial delivery using analytics, automation, and AI.

Requirements

Must have

BA/BS degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field

Strongly preferred

15+ years of actuarial consulting or insurance industry experience within Property & Casualty
Proven business development experience, including generating new opportunities and expanding client relationships
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Demonstrated success managing client relationships and leading complex engagements
Experience leveraging AI technologies, automation tools, or advanced analytics within actuarial or consulting environments
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical tools
ACAS or FCAS credential
