Entry-level P&C actuarial analyst supporting State Farm’s Property & Casualty actuarial community. You will build statistical models, develop actuarial recommendations, and partner across the business to support financial objectives. Hybrid role based in one of several US hub locations (e.g., Dunwoody, GA; Tempe, AZ).
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Entry-level P&C actuarial analyst building statistical models and recommendations
- Work with business partners across underwriting, finance, and product teams
- Hybrid role – assigned to a hub office with a minimum of 2 days/week onsite
- Technical work in Excel, SQL, R, and/or Python

DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial internship experience
- Experience with Excel, SQL, R, or Python
- Completion of at least one SOA or CAS exam
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics or related
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, or related
- Minimum GPA of 3.25 (3.5 preferred) with transcript required
- Completion of at least one SOA or CAS actuarial exam (1+ exams)
- Experience with Excel, SQL, R, and/or Python for data and statistical analysis
- Eligible to work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor visas
