Senior P&C actuarial analyst role within State Farm's Property & Casualty actuarial community in Bloomington, IL (hybrid). You will build statistical models, develop actuarial recommendations for leadership, and partner across the business to implement changes that support financial objectives. ACAS preferred with at least three SOA/CAS exams required.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Senior P&C actuarial analyst role in State Farm's P&C Actuarial group
- Build and apply statistical modeling techniques using SQL, R, or Python
- Develop actuarial recommendations and implement business changes
- Hybrid role — minimum 2 days per week in assigned office
- Requires ≥2 years P&C actuarial experience and ≥3 SOA/CAS exams passed
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial experience in Property & Casualty Insurance
- Statistical analysis using Excel, SQL, R, and/or Python
- Successful completion of at least three SOA or CAS exams
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of actuarial experience in Property & Casualty insurance
- Successful completion of at least three SOA or CAS exams
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, or related
- Experience with Excel, SQL, R, and/or Python
- Eligible to work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor visas
