You will manage a small team, oversee reinsurance TPA and internal modeling, analyze financial impacts of reinsurance changes, and present program performance to senior management. Hybrid role with a four-day in-office expectation for non-NY offices.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Manage reinsurance relationships and a small internal team for life & annuity business
- Analyze financial impact of changes in reinsurance coverage and retention
- Oversee third-party reinsurance TPA and internal modeling efforts
- Present program performance and strategic options to senior management
- Hybrid role — Boston-based, 4 days in office / 1 remote
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Reinsurance exposure
- Actuarial background
- 5+ years in financial services industry
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- At least 5+ years of financial services industry experience
- Exposure to reinsurance and/or an actuarial background required
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship
