Pricing partner to underwriting

Closer to an underwriting-partner role than a pure modelling seat because pricing support is tied to underwriting divisions and live portfolio decisions.

Senior P&C reinsurance pricing role in Pennington, New Jersey, with hybrid or remote flexibility. You will price casualty, specialty, and other reinsurance contracts, analyze profitability and claims trends, maintain pricing models, and support strategic work across Hamilton Re and Hamilton Select.

Requirements

Must have

  • Minimum 8 years of experience within the P&C insurance and/or reinsurance industry
  • ACAS or FCAS designation, or progress towards it
  • Clear understanding of reinsurance terms, structures, and data

Strongly preferred

  • Hands-on, proactive and flexible with strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrable ability to effectively communicate pricing and analytical findings
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Nice to have

  • At least 4 years of experience pricing Casualty Reinsurance contracts
  • Experience with programming in VBA, SQL, R and/or Python
