Manager-level P&C reserving role in Tampa, Florida, supporting a homeowners insurance carrier. You’ll develop reserving models and financial projections, review IBNR work, forecast P&C costs, and advise management on reserve risks and opportunities.

Requirements

Must have

  • College degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics or similar
  • Minimum of 3 years of actuarial experience in P&C field
  • Exceptional Excel skills

Strongly preferred

  • 5-7+ years of actuarial experience in P&C field preferred
  • Experience leading a small team of analysts
  • Tableau preferred
  • COGNOS preferred
  • SQL preferred
  • Access preferred
  • Proven knowledge of insurance concepts
  • Knowledge of mathematical concepts and relational databases
  • Capability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
  • Skill to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical data
  • Demonstrated ability to learn additional software applications
