Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior health actuarial role on Marsh McLennan Agency's Employee Health & Benefits team in Raleigh, NC. You will build and maintain pricing and projection models for medical and pharmacy plans, quantify impacts of network and plan design changes, and partner with account teams and clinical specialists. This senior analyst role requires mentorship of junior analysts and supports the Director of Actuarial Services.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Build and maintain analytical and pricing models for medical and pharmacy plans
Analyze cost drivers, prepare projections, and quantify plan or network changes
Partner with Account Management, Benefit Advisors, and clinical specialists
Mentor actuarial analysts and support the Director of Actuarial Services
Hybrid role – minimum 3 days in office (Raleigh, NC)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Healthcare actuarial experience
Experience analyzing medical and pharmacy plan costs

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years of actuarial experience with a healthcare or insurance focus
Completion of at least 4 SOA exam requirements
Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, economics, or related field required
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and common data management apps
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
