JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead quarterly and annual reserving analysis across multiple P&C lines
  • Support development and maintenance of capital models and ORSA inputs
  • Build and maintain models and code using Python/R, SQL and GitHub
  • Remote role reporting to the VP, Actuarial (based in Los Angeles)
  • Ideal for a senior analyst with 2–4 years in P&C reserving and capital work

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • loss reserving (P&C)
  • capital modeling and solvency analysis
  • loss analytics / portfolio performance analysis
  • ORSA and reinsurance strategy support

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 2–4 years in an actuarial role focused on reserving/capital/loss analytics
  • Passed actuarial exams P, FM, MAS-I and MAS-II
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field required
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R, plus SQL and Git/GitHub
  • Strong Excel automation skills and cloud tool familiarity
