Senior P&C reserving role with Ally Insurance in Detroit, Michigan. You’ll support the reserving framework, develop reserve indications and ranges, lead advanced analytics, and communicate results to management and senior leadership. The role is Detroit-hybrid preferred, with a remote option possible.
Requirements
Must have
5 or more Casualty Actuarial Society exams
Programming skills in R
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, economics, actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field
Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis
Strongly preferred
ACAS or near ACAS designation
4+ years of experience in actuarial or data science roles
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Ability to adapt to change and adjust priorities quickly
High level of problem solving and critical thinking capabilities
