JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead reserving and rate indication analysis for personal auto and homeowners
Develop new traditional and non-traditional reserving and pricing frameworks
Manage and mentor an actuarial team and partner with Finance and Claims
Work with internal/external data sources; SQL querying preferred
Proficiency with ResQ (or similar) and expert MS Office required

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Loss reserving for personal lines
Rate indications and pricing analysis
Claims metrics and claims analytics
Loss trend analysis (frequency and severity)

KEY REQUIREMENTS

7+ years of actuarial experience
Fellow or near-Fellow in the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS or near-FCAS)
Demonstrated loss reserving and rate indication experience
Proficiency with ResQ or similar reserving software
Expert MS Office skills
