Closer to a pricing and business-partner role than pure modelling: models support rate levels, product changes, filings, and strategic decisions.
Senior P&C pricing role for a $2.5B travel insurance portfolio in Richmond, Virginia. You’ll analyze historical performance, develop rates and predictive models, support filings, and influence product and strategic decisions. The hybrid schedule includes office days Tuesday and Thursday.
Requirements
Must have
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- 5+ years of related pricing actuarial experience in the insurance industry
- 2 in-office days per week in Richmond, Virginia (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, or related field or equivalent
- Proficiency in actuarial techniques, R or Python coding, and predictive modeling
- Associate, Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) designation
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience or demonstrated ability to lead project initiatives
- Cross-functional collaboration skills with strong business acumen
