Senior P&C reserving role with The Mutual Group in the United States. You’ll perform quarterly loss and LAE reserve analyses across multiple lines, assess reserve adequacy and uncertainty, support financial reporting and regulatory work, and partner with Finance, Claims, and Underwriting. The role is hybrid or in-office for employees within 30 miles of the home office, with a $120,000-$180,000 base salary range.

Must have
ACAS designation
Ability to work in a hybrid or in-office schedule if within 30 miles of the home office
Strongly preferred
5-8 years of actuarial experience in Property & Casualty insurance
Significant experience in reserving
Strong understanding of loss reserving techniques, loss development analysis, reserve uncertainty, and actuarial modeling
Proficiency with modeling and data analysis tools
Experience supporting financial reporting, reserve reviews, audits, or regulatory requirements
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-actuarial audiences
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, governance, and documentation standards
Familiarity with actuarial standards of practice (ASOPs) and reserving best practices
Nice to have
FCAS designation or active pursuit of FCAS
Experience with actuarial reserving software or programming tools
