HIGHLIGHTS

Senior Manager, Actuary (P&C) leading pricing and ratemaking and overseeing reserving activities. You will manage a team that builds models, maintains rate plans, and ensures regulatory compliance for property & casualty lines. This hybrid role is based in Boston, MA with a requirement to work a minimum of 10 days per month in office.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead a team responsible for pricing, ratemaking and reserve analysis for P&C lines
  • Oversee model and product pricing development through implementation
  • Ensure compliance with state rate standards and manage business partner relationships
  • Hybrid role – minimum 10 days per month in Boston office; up to 10% travel
  • Requires ACAS or FCAS credential (Associate or Fellow, CAS)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Property and casualty pricing and ratemaking
  • Loss reserving and loss adjustment expense analysis
  • Product pricing development and model maintenance
  • Rate filing and regulatory compliance
  • Commercial and Farm/Ranch experience

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate or Fellow in the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS or FCAS)
  • Demonstrated leadership managing and developing actuarial teams
  • Solid knowledge of P&C products, pricing, rates and regulatory requirements
  • Proven experience with statistical/actuarial analysis and modeling techniques
  • Must reside within ~35–50 miles of Boston and work minimum 10 days/month in office
