Director-level P&C treaty reinsurance pricing role in Stamford, Connecticut, reporting to the U.S. Chief Actuary. You’ll lead pricing and structuring across casualty, professional, and specialty treaties, partner with underwriters and brokers, and guide portfolio profitability and capital decisions.
Requirements
Must have
Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or related field
Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS)
Minimum of 12 years of relevant property & casualty actuarial experience
Strongly preferred
Treaty reinsurance pricing experience across property, casualty, and specialty lines
Strong command of reinsurance pricing techniques and treaty structures (quota share, surplus, excess of loss)
Proficiency with Excel and one or more of R, Python, or SQL
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative team player
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under deadlines
Nice to have
Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) preferred
15 or more years of P&C actuarial experience preferred
