Pricing partner to underwriting

Closer to a pricing-underwriting partner than a modelling-heavy IC—the ad stresses live business decisions and collaboration over standalone model ownership.

Senior Health actuarial pricing role supporting Accident & Health products in New York, with hybrid options also available in Chicago, Schaumburg, and Overland Park. You’ll lead pricing, rating strategy, product development, filings, reserve analysis, and underwriting support for Supplemental Health and Accident products. The role is aimed at experienced actuaries with ACAS/ASA or FCAS/FSA-level credentials and at least 5 years of actuarial experience.

Requirements

Must have

  • 5+ years of actuarial experience (or 10+ years with ACAS/ASA)

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, or equivalent
  • FCAS/FSA or equivalent international certification (or ACAS/ASA with 10+ years)

Nice to have

  • Experience with A&H product development, pricing, filing, and experience monitoring
  • Team leadership experience
  • Strong communication and ability to explain technical results
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or statistical analysis software
  • Collaboration experience on cross-functional teams
