Closer to a pricing-underwriting partnership than a modelling-heavy IC role—the ad emphasizes portfolio decisions and underwriter enablement, not model ownership alone.

Director-level P&C pricing role on AXA XL’s Americas Property Pricing team, based primarily in Exton, Pennsylvania, with options for New York City, Boston, or Hartford. You will lead pricing for an Excess and Surplus Property portfolio, support portfolio management and pricing models, and partner with underwriters and other functions.

Requirements

Must have

  • Qualified actuary through the Casualty Actuarial Society
  • Material experience in Property & Casualty actuarial pricing or reserving
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Applied Math, Statistics, or related field
  • Legally authorized to work in the posting country

Nice to have

  • Coding proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
