Role Summary

Role type

Pricing partner to underwriting

Closer to a live portfolio and underwriting partnership than a modelling-heavy IC role, because stakeholder influence and underwriter training are central to the mandate.

Senior P&C pricing role on the Americas Property Pricing team, primarily based in Exton, Pennsylvania, with options for NYC, Boston, or Hartford. You will lead pricing for an Excess and Surplus Property portfolio, support portfolio management and model development, and partner with underwriting and other functions. The role requires a CAS-qualified actuary and offers a base salary of $101,400-$177,600.

Requirements

Must have

  • Legally authorized to work in the posting country

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • Qualified actuary through the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS/FCAS)
  • Material experience in Property & Casualty actuarial pricing or reserving
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Motivated strategic thinker with collaborative work ethic

Nice to have

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Excellent influencing, negotiating, and communication skills
  • Coding proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
  • Proactive learner with desire to deepen expertise
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
