Role Summary

Role type

Client-facing actuarial consultant

Closer to client-facing consulting than a modelling-heavy IC role because project variety, client recommendations, and cross-functional assignments outweigh single-model depth.

Entry-level P&C actuarial consulting analyst role in Milliman’s Atlantic Region practice, based in Boston or South Burlington, Vermont. You’ll support pricing, reserving, predictive modeling, and broader risk projects for varied insurance and financial clients, using Excel and statistical tools. The hybrid schedule requires three days in the office, and candidates need at least two CAS exams.

  • Minimum of two CAS actuarial exams passed at time of application
  • Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship

  • Pursuing an Associate credential (ACAS) from the CAS
