JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Work across pricing, ratemaking, reserving, product development, and analytics
- Build predictive models and visualize results to support business decisions
- Assess rate adequacy and support large-account pricing and regulatory filings
- Manage interns, mentor team members, and lead work streams and projects
- Use Python, R, or SQL and Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial experience in property/homeowners or catastrophe-exposed property
- Knowledge of underwriting, product, and reinsurance drivers
- Experience with rate indications and product filings
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or STEM required
- 2–4 years of experience in an actuarial role
- Passage of three or more actuarial exams (goal of ACAS/FCAS)
- Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
- Authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship)
