JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead workstreams and manage interns on the Actuarial team
- Support pricing, ratemaking, product development, and reserving
- Develop predictive models and visualize results to inform decisions
- Support large-account pricing and prepare product filing documentation
- Work with underwriters, marketing, program ops, and senior management
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Residential property pricing or ratemaking
- Product filings with Departments of Insurance
- Large account pricing support
- Predictive model development and visualization
- Knowledge of underwriting, product, and reinsurance drivers
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 2–4 years of experience in an actuarial role
- Passage of three or more actuarial exams (aiming for ACAS/FCAS)
- Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or STEM
- Authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship)
