Closer to an underwriting partnership role than a reserving cycle role because portfolio profitability and live business strategy drive the mandate.

Senior P&C actuarial management role in New York focused on Workers Compensation. You’ll lead pricing, reserving, profitability and portfolio analysis while partnering with Underwriting, Claims, Finance and executive leadership to guide business strategy and manage actuarial talent.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • ACAS designation required
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of actuarial experience
  • US Work Authorization required, no visa sponsorship

Strongly preferred

  • Strong emphasis in Workers Compensation domain
  • Demonstrated experience in Workers Compensation pricing, reserving, or portfolio management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience partnering with Underwriting, Claims, and Finance leaders to influence business strategy

Nice to have

  • FCAS designation preferred
