Closer to a pricing and underwriting partner than a reserving cycle role, because new-business opportunities and contract decisions drive the work.

Senior Health actuarial analyst role in Philadelphia supporting pricing, underwriting, and new-business evaluation across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial health. You’ll refine opportunity models, assess contract terms, partner with Finance and Growth, and present insights to internal and external stakeholders. The role is hybrid-remote with onsite and travel needs.

Requirements

Must have

Minimum three completed actuarial exams
Must be authorized to work without visa sponsorship

Strongly preferred

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
2+ years experience in Actuarial services, Healthcare Economics, or related field
Internet connectivity: min speeds 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps, latency <60ms
Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs
Experience applying or reviewing medical claim grouper logic
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience with CMS shared savings programs strongly preferred
Experience in Commercial, Medicaid or Medicare analysis
Experience using advanced Microsoft Excel functions and SQL
