Closer to a pricing and underwriting partnership than a modelling-heavy IC—the work is tied to live client opportunities and contract terms.
Senior Health actuarial pricing role in Chicago with hybrid-remote flexibility. You’ll evaluate new business opportunities across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid markets, refine financial models, assess contract terms, and present insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Must have
- Minimum three completed actuarial exams
- Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
Strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- 2+ years experience in Actuarial services or Healthcare Economics
- Internet connectivity meeting minimum speeds and latency requirements
- Ability to travel and be onsite
Nice to have
- Experience applying or reviewing medical claim grouper logic
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience in value-based care
- Experience with CMS shared savings programs
- Experience in Commercial, Medicaid or Medicare analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel functions and SQL skills
