You will lead a team of analysts, own regional rate development and regulatory submissions, and partner with Market P&L and Product on pricing strategy. This hybrid role requires actuarial credentials (ASA/FSA or on-track) and is based in the NYC office (3 days/week).
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead pricing and rate development for ACA Individual and Small Group markets
- Manage and mentor a team of actuarial analysts
- Own end-to-end regulatory rate submissions and regional pricing strategy
- Hybrid role — 3 days/week in New York City office; Thursdays required
- Requires ASA/FSA (or on track) and 7+ years quantitative experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- ACA market pricing
- Individual and Small Group health pricing
- End-to-end regulatory rate submissions
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of quantitative analysis experience
- Associate or Fellow of the SOA, or on the track to become one
- College degree in a STEM field
- Demonstrated experience leading actuarial/ pricing teams
- Experience with ACA market pricing and regulatory filings
